What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Minnesota

If a product is labeled "ONLY FOR DISTRIBUTION IN EUROPE, CENTRAL AMERICA, AFRICA, SOUTH AMERICA, MIDDLE EAST, CARIBBEAN. NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION IN ASIA PACIFIC OR NORTH AMERICA", can that be enforced? One large software company just started labeling their products for different regions of the world. I tried to sell one online, and had the auction removed by the company. They said I couldn't sell it because I was in North America. They weren't questioning it's authenticity.

What are my rights in this situation? Any cases regarding restricting the sale of products? What about first sale doctrine?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The company is within it's rights to limit where it's products are sold. First sale doctrine would only apply if you bought it from the manufacturer.
