What is the name of your state? Colorado

Our town is very small, and as such our ordinances have been sadly neglected. (We still have 3.2 liquor laws on the books!!!) Many of our newer ordinances are not contained in the last codification, and there are none of the legal definitions you find in other town ordinances. They are still hand typed, and have never been put into a computer (which is what I am doing now)

For example: There is a law on the books that says no one may operate a junkyard within town limits, but does not define "junkyard" - Many towns have it defined in detail, but ours just leaves it there.

Since I have offered to type the ordinances into the computer and put them on disc, we were wondering if I could codify the new ordinances as well. Are any certifications required for codification? Attorney? Paralegal? Publishing Company?

Never mind... I had to seek my answer elsewhere. For the record yes, I can help codify the ordinances as a paralegal or town assistant. However it is recomended that they be reviewed by an Attorney, and researched thoroughly before they are adopted as code.

Just in case anyone else has such an odd question...
