What is the name of your state? MO

I am an independent contractor providing construction quality management
services to large construction projects and am normally hired and paid as
an individual thru a specialty employment agency, usually known as a "head hunter."

I have talked to people in similar roles who have organized themselves
as a business primarily for they claim to be tax advantages, such as deducting
expenses an individual can't normally claim, splitting income for lower rates, etc.

If an advantage, I would "hire" my wife as book-keeper and tax preparer.

Years ago I started a sub-S corporation but there were several members
and a completely different situation. Since then, I've seen many more ways
or organizing developed.

I have really no personal liability to be concerned about and am primarily
looking to save some taxes.

Very much appreciate any information and assistance!
