What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

Wisconsin Dells is a tourist town. Because the outside water resorts, make their 2/3 of their income only in the summer, my friend insists that they don't have to pay overtime (after 40). She and all her coworkers have never gotten overtime. Is this really possible? Thanks for any insight. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Yes, it really is possible. IF the employer meets the definition of a "seasonal employer" they are exempt from overtime laws.
