I have a couple of questions. First of all, I live in Garden City, Michigan. I was recently arrested in Westland for OUIL. Question 1: What is the difference between an OUIL and a DWI? Also, what is the USUAL sentance for a first time offender in the Westland court system? I am scared to death.

My response:

First, I want to thank you for posting; however, your questions are way too specific. Some of us (me) don't know the acronyms for every State (OUIL), nor the laws of every State. You'll need to consult with a local attorney who specializes in Criminal Law.

Good Luck.
