About 10 months ago we bought a 92 Plymouth
Voyager mini-van. We have had at least 11
problems to date, of which only a few remain.
My wife used this for her job, which required
extensive driving (in a true desert invironment). The problems include:
Air conditioner very low output.
Radiator replacement.
Heater unit leaks.
Replaced computer.
Replaced oxygen sensor.
Wiring harness had burnt wiring (repaired)
Ignition switch doesn't always turn/not fixed
Muffler seam split several inches/patched.
Oil pan leaks.
Transmission fluid leaks/ a quart a month.
Brake vacuum booster failed / replaced.

Although the dealer, repaired some of the above items, they refused to let us even to
"trade up". They said that they didn't want
it back (well, DUH). We have since then
bought a 1999 van, from a dealer who also said that they "didn't want" the old van as a trade. We paid $9995 & I found out a few
months ago, via internet, the "blue book"
was $6200!! (old van) It's not worth that either, due to scrapes & dents from when we bought it.

So, it's a piece of junk, we owe much more than it's worth, and my QUESTION IS: What
happens if we voluntarily return it to them
& tell them we can't afford to keep paying for something that's not worth much. Can they
take us to court for the balance? How bad would that look on our credit?

We have never had anything repossessed.

AND we've never had such a lousy vehicle!!

We would appreciate comments from the Moderator!!!
