Hello,
I have made a purchase from a webbased company that has operated for over four years (mywebwholesaler.com). First I had to wait for 3 weeks for my order but everytime I have received an email or phoned their office I was told that my order will be shipped within a few days. Then their emails froze and phones went down (out of service), it looked like it was over but in 3 days the company reopened and told all custumers that their supplier of electronics is under FBI investigation + thier demin supplier handles in "low quality merchendise" (fakes) and that fact has effected them
(After reading the news it checked out to be true (at least the electronics part)). Anyhow that was a week ago, on tuesday I've called them and was promised that my order will ship this friday (today) and guess what.. their company went out of business today. They just kept on lieing and lieing to all of thier custumers (there are quite a few, some of us gathered on forums of surplus.cc some on different forums/places), the phones are still up and I was promised to receive an email and refund as soon as they receive the money from thier supplier(they shipped all thier stock back and closed the company down). but after so many lies I somehow do not belive them.. Please advise on what can or should be done in this case?
