What is the name of your state?
Ohio.
New development.
Current 50/50 custody, each given 1 week vacation time upon noticed no later than 30 days in advance.
In process of custody evaluations and modification.
Ex tells me he wants to take child out of the country. The child has never had a passport.
I wrote a letter to ex and his attorney stating my position:
I fear child will not be returned due to the recent custody case.
As per joint legal, I do not give my consent to obtain a passport nor travel from the country. --- is this decision actually within my joint legal rights?
Must I follow the vacation schedule in our order fearing he won't return with our child, which would kill me?

you are not in contempt of the order- dad can still enjoy a vacation with child in the states
Although it is possible for dad to take it to court and attempt to get a judge to order her to sign the passport application. If the judge doesn't feel that dad is a flight risk, the judge may order her to sign.
