i live in ca. and a company in tx. is not providing me with the service i paid for. do i need to go to tx. or take them to small claims court here in ca.?

In what State was the contract entered into ? If there is a written contract, does it say something about Jurisdiction near the end of the contract; e.g., "This Agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of _________" ?

Does this company do business in California on a regular basis, including advertising ?
