Well, i recently got arrested in may of 2010 for drunk driving in the state of Ohio
i live in Michigan. my license was suspended, and taken from me in Ohio.
i had to pay 1000 dollars in 2010 and will be paying the other 1000 for this year for the drivers responsibility fee through Michigan laws.
i also have 2 separate reinstatement fees.
125 dollars for Michigan, and 425 for Ohio.
my question is,when i pay the 1000 and the 125 reinstatement for Michigan will i have my license issued to me again? or do i have to pay both reinstatement fees?
from what i gathered through the "web" is that Ohio cannot suspend my license, only refuse me the right to drive in that state. i don't have the money for Ohio right now but will eventually pay them, whether it be a payment plan,or send money here and there when i do have it.
any information will help!
thanks in advance
Tek

You must reinstate yourself in Ohio and the Michigan will let you reinstate. Yes you'll pay fees in both places, and no you're not driving until you do all that.

thanks for the info! helps me out quite a bit.
i have one other question.
now if i send out a check to Ohio for the 475 reinstatement ,and pay the 125 reinstatement fee to Michigan, will i recover my license?
but i would still owe the 600 to the driver resposibilty fee.
