What is the name of your state? Illinois

Friends are trying to come to an agreement for an uncontested divorce instead of contested. Having a problem about out-of-state vistitation. One will be moving out of state. Can't see that CP can prevent minors from going out of state for visitation so long as NCP has provided sufficient notice.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Sal

in normal situations an NCP is not beholden to the CP as to what they do with the child during thier visitation.

None I can see

CP just doesn't want NCP to be able to take the child any where out of state, whether to visit grandparents or even if NCP moves out of state. CP has refused to date to allow children from meeting their half-brother from a previous marriage even if the half-bro came to their town to visit their Father.

No real reasons for denial other than CP doesn't want it. Can't see that flying if goes to court due to be contested.

Same thoughts

Thanks for the thought. Same as what I was thinking. Can't see how a CP could get away with not allowing an out-of-state NCP to not have visitation either so long as NCP pays for transportation and ensures child is under supervision during flights.
