I'm from PA and my landlord gave me a notice to quit. I'm out of time and was wondering what I should do? Yes I know this sounds like something a teenager would say but I don't want to end up being forcfuly removed or anything like that. I have no lease and am wondering what she could do after the notice is up and how long she has to do it in. I don't want the sheriff to come and just throw me out on the street. I don't have any place else to go and I am more or less stalling for time to be truthful. The house I am going to rent won't be available till the end of the month and I don't think my current landlord will give me an extention because she already sold the house. I am trying to do what I can to get out of here but everything is against me right now.

1. Read the Notice and see what it says.

2. Do it.

Go to a hotel if you have to, until your house is ready.

You see what happens when you dont have a lease? you can be evicted witha 30 day notice, and if the house is sold and you are not out before the closing you could be liable for THOUSANDS of dollars in damages, becuase ALL the lawyers bankers brokers have fees associated with cancellation or delaying of the closing.....

Paying for a hotel room is FAR CHEAPER then being sued for those fees.

If you had a lease, unless it is spefically stated in the lease that any sale of the property means the lease is ended, YOU have a leal right to live there UNTIL the lease expires, and if anyone wants you out..THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY YOU TO MOVE!

see ya coulda made sum money by havin a lease, insteda bein throw out on you butttttt!
