What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ny

Is there a free website where you can look up to see if there are open warrants for people in your area? The only one's I find are costly and the police deptartment wont help me without sending out an officer and I am not in the position to do that.

Try your county's web site. Mine has a link to the sheriff, which has a link to the jail, which has a link to a search function for outstanding warrants.
