What is the name of your state? west virginia
I will be as concise as possible - I had an affair with a married man and his wife has been doing numerous things to get me fired from a very good job for over a year. She has called as herself to my immediate boss, his boss and her boss in another state telling them I have had an affair with her husband and broke up her family. The man and I aren't even together anymore. She has gone to every friend I ever had and questioned them about every move I have every made. She watches every move I make. I haven't been fired yet because I am very good at my job and they want me there but now we have a new GM and he isn't as fond of my as my last GM and I of course am very worried about my job. I have a son and am single - I am not proud of what I did but do I deserve to lose my job? Come to find out I was one of many women he has had affairs with thanks to the many things she sent me in the mail.

Are you asking whether you deserve to lose your job? We have no way of assessing that.

Are you asking if it would be illegal for you to lose your job? No, it wouldn't. It may or may not be unfair, but it would be legal.

Or are you, by any chance, asking what your options are? Please make it clear what your question is. My crystal ball is out for cleaning.

as long as she tells the truth and your employer is willing to talk with her, there really isnt much you can do.

My question was

I guess in a round about way I was asking does she have a right to call my job and say these things? I may have had a relationship with her husband but who is to say I broke the marriage up? I don't see how this is her right to call and talk to my employer about my personal life when the two have nothing to do nothing with each other.

And of course, you've never thought of going to the police and filing a no-contact order against her. Get real. Until YOU do something to stop her, she will continue and there's not one thing you can do about the fallout.

Yes, she has such a right. It's called the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. She can call anyone she wants to and discuss HER personal situation, and you put yourself right into the middle of her personal situation by having an affair with her husband.

oh thanks

I thought this was legal advice - not advice on moral conduct and personal lifestyles - anyway - I wasn't the married one - he was! Considering the man was 16 years older than me and I have been stalked for a year and a half from this psycho and considering she is a lawyer, I AM THE VICTIM!
Thanks for the GREAT advice!
This info isn't even from lawyers anyway! Thanks but no thanks for this information! Another great website!
you all can also - leavemebe!

Oh I get the anger and reason to abuse people on this site

From the mouths of babes.......

WRONGO. I'm a disabled vet who calls the police and has cars towed for people like you who are too damn lazy to park where they are supposed to. And I'll continue doing so. Because, like it or not, you don't deserve to park there unless you're willing to give up a limb or perhaps spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair.

Want to trade that for your 'short time' to run inside?
So because you are a disabled vet spending all day on the computer you want to sit her judging people and verbally abusing them as you
quasi - inform on legal matters. Why don't you leave this to the experts and find some BDSM site that is more in line with your "personality". We actually have problems and want LEGITIMATE advice and don't need your abuse and continued harassment - I am letting the site know - for someone so legally sound you should read the terms and conditions. I hope you have the $250.00 for these violations. Oh - P.S. - it's no wonder you don't accept personal messages - I doubt you have many fans here.

Did you see Belize Breeze's post?

Contact the police to have a no contact order?

((I am still trying to figure out the disabled veteran comments))
