I live in the state of Louisiana---I recently was transported 70 miles by an ambulance service. Their total bill was $2700. After insurance paid (2 olicies) they are sending me a bill for $1656.00. I think this is way out of line and I am refusing at this time to pay they anything. I was told that a hospital or similiar bill cannot be legally collected by them if I pay a minimum of $10.00 per month. Is this correct?---Pecanmanwill

**A: you should have traveled by limo instead. It would have been way cheaper.
And who told you that $10 collection BS?
