What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I've received an overpayment letter for receiving more money from a part-time job in 4 months than I was permitted to receive. The problem is I was not notified of the limit until after the fact AND the job in question is the same part-time job I've had since the judge awarded me disability status 2 1/2 years ago. Do I need a lawyer or would completing a Waiver form be sufficient? And if so, am I obligated to provide all that financial info (utilities, IRA, etc) requested?

Thank you for your response. However, my question is not about options. I'm seeking experienced legal opinion on whether I need an attorney, given the details of my dilemma.

Before consulting an attorney ,go in person to your local SSA Office with your overpayment letter and discuss what you can file ,and if denied , ask if 10% per month can be taken out until paid off .

SSA knows the rules ,etc. and do not cost a dime .

If you don't like the denials and remedies you are provided , then consult an attorney.
