apparently 10 months ago, when I was on comp, i received an over payment in my weekly benefit. I had no knowledge of it at the time, as i did not pay attention. i simply cashed the checks as i received them. Now, my employer sent me a notice that I was overpaid. and I want to know if i am responsible to pay them back. After all they made the mistake, not me.
I live in New York State
