I work for the State of Pennsylvania. We work shifts I work the 2-10 shift. Ever since I been there it was always about 10 of 20 after 10 before we got relieved and out of work. Well we all got sick of getting out that late with no pay and filled out overtime slips for it. Then yesterday management put out a memo (that I have a copy of) that anyone putting in for overtime for getting out late will face disinplanary actions. To me their telling us we have to work for free. Can they do this?
