We have this tenant in our building who claims her x husband stole her keys, so she installed a padlock on her door without telling us. Can we order her to take down the
lock and charge her for the replacement locks that we now have to install, and also charge her for the new holes in the door made by the padlock. When we did approach her about the matter she stated that she put it up because she can't afford to get new locks put in. Now is that my problem or her problem. please advise
