i'm due for a support summons how is it computed in pa. last year i lost my job but received back vacation pay and sick pay which raised my yearly income substantially. in the last 6 months i have been employed off and on the last 2 practically jobless.

I believe the way they usually do it is look at your most recent jobs and impute(figure what you could make) your income based on what you made at your most recent jobs. Then they will probably set support payments based on this.

If you are unemployed at the time of the hearing the amount could be set based on your earning potential. Is there already a support order in effect and this a review or is this a new case?
