What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Arkansas

i'm afraid this may be a silly/stupid question, but i'm asking anyway.
i'm wondering if pacer can also be used to look up info on a lawsuit/possible default judgement that was supposed to be filed in our county's district court. i have no reason to suspect otherwise, but am unable to physically go to the courthouse and check at this time and don't know if they can give you such info on the phone. we are filing ch7 in early june but would at least like a heads up if they go for a writ of garnishment. anyway i know on pacer there is a search for civil cases and arkansas has 2 district courts listed (east and west) but i don't think this is the same as the county district courts. TIA for any response

Yes, district court cases can be found on Pacer. Whether or not your county and the district courts on Pacer are the same, you'd have to do a case search and find out. It may just be cheaper to call the courthouse and ask the court clerk if there are any judgments on file against you.

Pacer is for federal cases; you are interested in state cases. Some states put the state cases online; some counties have the cases on line.

Call your county courthouse and ask them your question.
