I won an auction on Ebay and sent my payment by money order to the seller. The money order has been cashed but I haven't received my item. The seller will not respond to numerous emails.I have gone through Ebays services for such an incident to no avail. What can I do?

The only option you have is to sue in small claims in the sellers state. You will also have to obtain the signed MO by contacting the number that is on your MO stub. You will have to provide proof of purchase and you will have to pay for it the signed copy.

How would I go about sueing him in small claims court?I live in Kentucky and he lives in California.Would it cost me to sue him?About how much?Could I sue him also for the cost of sueing him since it would be a direct result of his negligence?

How much was the item that you purchased? Have you contacted eBay? I believe they have "insurance" that covers products over $50.00.

Of course it would cost to sue him considering you have to file in California and appear in California whenever there is a court date. Those expenses are unreturnable. That's why so many people get away with it because once the buyer realizes all the money they have to put into a lawsuit they suck up their lose and move on. I don't think Ebay helps at all when there is a MO involved.

Immediately blast him with negative feedback. That sometimes gets results because sellers want to continue screwing others. That's at least a start.
