What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon
I had a judgement against me in small claims court for services I wasn't satisfied with. When I recieved the paperwork from the court about the judgement, I paid the debt in full (which I have a receipt for) including all the additional fees as listed on the court order.
The credit service came back to me again and said there were additional fees up and beyond what was represented on the court order. When I asked them to provide the details on these new additional fees, they said they didn't need to and they wouldn't put in a satisfaction of payment until I paid these additional fees.
Now they have garnished money from my bank account despite me paying the balance in full from the court order. I'm not sure what recourse I have here, but I am concerned that they will continue to be able to take money from my bank accounts without a valid claim. What options do I have?
