What is the name of your state?OHIO - I sent a postal money order to Waldorf, Maryland to a guy who has an online ad for transmissions . . says he is in business 14 years . . i have heard every excuse in the world why it is not here yet . . i believe he has a scam going and i want to know what legal course to take . . i am sure this is fraud of some kind . . interstate? . . please help me with some advice . i contacted sheriff in maryland . . he says i have to get the ball rolling in OHIO . .
what are my recourses . . thank you . . i also contacted another person who bought one from him on ebay . . he has not recieved his transmission either :(
 


Try this

I and some friends have had this type of problem with merchandise purchased on line through eBay. We've had luck with several methods of collection.
First, contact eBay. Second, since you paid with a postal money order, file a complaint with the post office. Third, contact the police department or the DA's office where you live. They can start the ball rolling on your end.
One of these should get your transmission delivered if it was legit to begin with.
