What is the name of your state? West Virginia. I'm taking my last renter to Small Claims court in February. He owes me nearly $3,000. I had to borrow the money from my elderly parents to pay what he owed me, as I can't work due to Lupus. The limit one can sue for in Small Claims in WV is $5,000. I asked for $2,000 for pain and suffering. It would be great if I could pay my parents back. Does anyone ever win pain and suffering in Small Claims?
