I was invoved in an automobile accident just over two months ago. I was injured, but am now ready to settle with the other paties insurance company. (they were at fault) I know I am entitled to monetary compensation for pain and suffering, my question is how I should determine the fair amount. Is there a formula that is used?

My response:

Here we go again Lars.

Okay, if you read the post under "Please????????????" (Haley3) toward the bottom of this listing page, you'll read about the same issues and our responses.

Also, in conjunction with that, read the posts under "Jessie - I did it too!!"

Good luck to you.
