What is the name of your state? Florida

I recently took my car to what was supposed to be a reputable paint and body shop to have repaired and painted. The salesperson advised it would take about 1-2 weeks to paint. So after the first week I then stopped by and if I could not I would send a relative to check it for me so then the manager then left a message on my answer machine very rudely not to send anyone else by to inspect my car. He then proceeded to tell me if he wanted to he could keep my car as long as he wanted he stated he was not in the entertainment business and not to send my family by there again.

What can I do about the problem if anything at all I feel I am not being treated fairly by the owner of this company?

Get you car back and take your business elsewhere. You will be liable for any costs associated with the work that has been done to the car up to that point though. The owner of the business is correct though, he does not have to allow for frequent visits to your vehicle. Insurance policy rules may prevent customers from the work area. When I had my auto repair shop, I charged an extra $20 an hour if the vehicle owner wanted to watch me work.
