Were you convicted of a federal crime or a state crime? If it was a state crime, was the conviction in Nebraska or some other state? Finally, what was the crime? Was it a felony or misdemeanor?

First, here are two links, the first to the Nebraska Board of Pardons frequently asked questions and the second to application guidelines:

You would be smart to have an attorney's advice and direction when filling out the application.

It is important to know that, if your crime was against a person or persons, the victim(s) will be allowed to testify. The Board of Pardons weighs this testimony heavily.
