What is the name of your state? TN
My boyfriend has been separated for two years now. She moved back to Switzerland and he is in the military. At first, she had agreed on joint custody but just changed her mind. She says it would be a hassle because everytime she needs to take their son to the doctor or get passports, they will need his signature also. Is this true. If it is, can a Power of attorney take care of this? My other question is, can he get divorce now and give her full custody (she won't sign the papers unless she gets full custody), and change it later? With him beign in the military, brings a lot of problems when he has to say that he is still married so he just want to get it over with. He is also about to go to Korea, and it this will drag the processw even more.
