What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OHIO

Last night at about 10:30 me,and two friends were parked at the local speedway ( mayfield heights) just sitting, thinking of things we could do. There was also a car full of kids from my school that came to my car and we were talking for a bit.

All of a sudden about 6 police cruisers pulled in, one behind each car and several others. An officer came to my car and asked for ID, also asked if i had any illegal substances in the vehicle and i answered no. They said they had received a call for suspicious activity and had been watching from across the street for 20 minutes.

Then they brought out the drug dog and the dog sniffed all three cars and didnt find anything. Next the officer asked me to step out so he could search the vehicle, i did give consent.

He found a one hitter with resin in it, and a small amount of pot. I am pretty confident it was even less than a gram.

I am 17 and this is my first offense other than a noise violation two years ago and recently a curfew violation a couple months back.

What should i expect from the court?
Are there any loopoles is this situation? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Wrong. You can be mailed a court summons to juvenile court. I believe your county has a teen drug court which will basically act as a diversionary type program.

I don't see loopholes in how you told it. You gave the police permission to search your car. They found illegal drugs. You are responsible. Oh your parents will have to come to court with you.
