What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

My driveway has a trapezoidal end that touches the street. How close to a outer corner of the trapezoidal end is a vehicle allowed to park?

parking regs are usually a local issue but generally, the same as you are required to park from a drive with a rectangular end. This distance is measured from the opening in the curb, not a projected line extending the side of the drive continuing the trapezoid.

What is the point? As long as they are no blocking your driveway and there are no signs prohibiting on street parking, a car can park near your driveway. Or do you mean how close to the street while in the driveway? You can't block a sidewalk if parked in the driveway. You also can't block a mailbox.

this is just a WAG but I'm thinking the OP is upset because somebody parks near their drive and they park close enough that if you extended the trapezoid side it would cross the parked car at some point. What that would do is cause the driver in the driveway to be straighter in the drive when entering or exiting. I think he wants to be able to make them move further away from his drive.

That is why I asked. I was unsure of what point he was trying to make or what question he was actually asking.
