Parking on the street in front of someone's yard...

I'm from Pennsylvania.

I heard a long time ago that the state of PA owns abotu 15 feet out from the center of the road... not sure if this is true or not.

Can someone do anything to you for parking your car on the side of a public street inside a housing plan, & having about a half of a tire width in their grass?

I thought that the state owned so far off of the road anyway.

What you are talking about is the "right of way". This can be anywhere from 6 inches to 20 feet from the side of the road, it varies with your local jurisdiction. Only your local police or land use department can answer your question.
