I'm having trouble finding/influencing the eligibility requirements are in order to transfer parole from Texas to Indiana. Mr. W*&%@^#on from IN parole board has biased himself against my mother's boyfriend (who was extradited to TX for not showing up at a hearing from 15 years ago), and rejected (interrupted) his interstate compact transfer. I want to know what I can do to get him back there -- where his job -- and my disabled mother awaits his timely return. Mr. W*&%$#^on says "well, they have jobs in Texas" and he told my aunt ..."good character doesn't mean he's a good person." This man has been with my mother for 7 years (common law marriage?) and was, up until 6/99, overseeing my mother's overall functioning, holding down a permanent, full time job, and PAYING TAXES. Mom is currently in a nursing home, but intact enough to function again with her paramour's caring, concern, and assistance. Texas said ok, Indy said no way. Somebody help!!! We ARE his family, and because we're not blood-related, they denied it, interpreted by a TX staff to read: unstable (???) This is an outrage, and a downright injustice to deny someone his full potential to resume a productive life. Talk about HOMEWRECKING.
