What is the name of your state? California
Hi, My question is if you are a passenger of a vehicle non moving(meaning they were parked at a store). A police officer walks over ends up searching the car and finds an oz of meth and a scale. Can the passenger be arrested and charge with the same crime as the driver and owner of vehicle?

The police are allowed to search a parolee and the car he is driving. If they find drugs in the process, they can charge whomever they think has control of the drugs. It does not matter who owns the car or who is driving.
