What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA.
my daughter brought me a passport application and asked me to sign it. i read over it and more is needed than a signature, a notirized letter. she did not give me dates or location or who was going with her. if i do decide for her to go can i make specific requests to when they can go without missing my visitation or not allowed to go w/out her mother? i dont know why she wouldnt give me any info. thanks

How old is your daughter?

What is your custody agreement? Who is CP/NCP?

The other parent would not be allowed to take her on a visit that interferes with your visitation time, unless you both agreed to something.

No, dad can't be required to take mom too (if your aim is to get a free vacation out of this )

What do you THINK is happening here?

i am the ncp(father). my daughter is 15yrs old. she had asked me a few months ago about going to Mexico for vacation w/out her mother just grandfather....i dont feel comfortable with her going without her mom. I just want to make it clear that she can go only if her mother goes along AND it is not during school time.(i just received letter from school saying she had too many truancies). I just want to know if i can ask for this specifically before giving her permission.
Thanks.
