Passports...

What is the name of your state? New York

My brother has been off parole and out of trouble since 2001, and he wanted me to find out if he can get a passport for a job he may start soon. It would require him to travel to canada and australia, but he is afraid that a convicted felon cannot get a passport.

I don't think this is true, but then again, I have never had a passport so I don't really know... thanks for any answers.
