My ex-girlfriend lives in Colorado with a new child and I reside in another state. I am pretty sure I am the father and she insists that I am. She wants me to sign papers saying that I am the father.

Should I get a paternity test done? Am I entitled to that if I am going to pay child support? And am I solely responsible for paying for the test or would she be partially responsible for the costs?

Definitely get a paternity test done. Not sure, but I think if YOU request the test, you will have to pay - unless it is ordered that you take it - then I think you split the cost.
