my baby is due in about 4 weeks. i am currently living my boyfriend who may or may not be the biological father, the biological father is either my current boyfrinds or my ex-boyfriends. can i use my current boyfriends last name on the birth certificate or do i have to wait for paternity to be established first?

you did not include what state you are in but in a lot of them if you are not married then your boyfriend has to sign paternity papers agreeing that this is his child. If he will not sign them until paternity is established then the child get's the mother's last name
