Pay Day Loan saying fraud with arrest

I got a Payday loan in May with this company and I had to close my account for other reasons and the loan didn't get paid. Today I get a call from a collection agency in Jacksonville, FL and they said they have fraudulent charges against me and their is a warrant out for my arrest because of this. I was going to pay them as soon as I had the money but I haven't had it. Can they prosecute me for this? It really wasn't fraud. I have never committed a crime. They said they hired a PI to talk to my contacts and everything. I am scared because the EFT wired was only 200.00 now they say it is 500.00 because they tried to put the check through my bank 5 times. It was closed on the first try so why would they put it through all the other times. Please respond. They are giving me until Friday at 1:00 pm to make restitution. I don't know what to do. Please help? Thank you,

They are very likely full of crapola !! They cannot issue a warrant for your arrest and that is a typical threat from these kinds of places. Don't succumb to their threats and nastiness, they are trying to scare you into paying up. They probably cannot charge you the extra charges they are claiming either.

Easy to find out if they're blowing smoke about the arrest threat - call your local sheriff's office and ASK !

Their 'deadline' is crap too, another typical arm-twisting tactic. Its also VERY unlikely they hired anyone, let alone a PI, to 'check your contacts' - that would cost them more money than you owe them. Its bull !
