my name is susie foster,i live in madison, missouri, my husband has a huge hospital bill that we can only pay in payments. the hospital accepted my first payment and then sent us a letter saying it was not enough and now they want it all. what can i do?

Just continue to negoiate. Does the hospital have a social worker to intercede on your behalf.
You don't say how much the hospital bill is or your payment. Was the payment enough to retire the bill in a few years? Just keep trying to work things out and don't ignore them. I'd imagine they'll eventually set up a payment schedule.
