What is the name of your state? Indiana

If A person was never behind on support and there 18 yrs son started college, taking a few classes here and there. And there was nothing in the divorse papers about how college was to be payed for and the two parents desided to split the bill shouldn`t that money still go threw the child support office ,and then the mother pay as she wishes? Right now the mother just wants for the father to give her the money and she says she will pay the bill..

If it's not in the court order then the college money does not need to be paid anyways. Also the state only deals with child support issues only If you agree to pay half the school bill then send it to the school. You could 'attempt' to have the child emancipated if they aren't in school fulltime but CS in Indiana is until they are 21 unless court ordered..

No. Why shouldn't the mother send the money to the father to pay the school bill? If there is no order to pay for college, neither has to pay. And certainly dad does not have to send mom the money to "pay as she wishes."

I am actually a bit confused on what dad is really trying to ask.....hopefully your response covers his issues or he will clarify his question.
