Texas--We live in a mobile home park. Our house is not in our name, but in my mothers name. the management has made us pay $50.00 more on our rent, only because our name is not on the title of our home. We pay the monthly morgage and the monthly rent payment on the lot. Can the management make us pay that extra $50.00 a month? also, if you dont pay your lot rent on time the management will put a pad lock on your water meter (paid water bill or not) until the lot payment is paid.

OH NO,....MORE TEXAS LOW LIFE SCUMBAG LANDLORDS......

IT IS ILLEGAL for them to padlock your water, CALL THE POLICE on them and have them arrested for that!

Remember you live in America not some 3rd world REDNECK communist country!

Now for the extra $50....

Well thats what the rules are for ......to look at!

Is it stated somewhere that they can chrage you extra lot rent if you are not the owner? Are they charging other people?

IT IS A TYPICAL LOW LIFE SOUTHERN REDNECK TRADITION to make things up out of thin air, and rip off tenants,....maybe the park manager is pocketing the extra $50.....report it to the owner and try and get him/her fired!
