What is the name of your state?

Hi :) ,
I have made the payment to an insurance company twice by mistakes. These two payments were done via a net-bank system. (One comfirmation activated two payments.)

I have contacted the bank, they told me that in this case the insurance company should make a refund for me because it is not right to receive two payments. But, on the other hand, the insurance company told me that I have to contact the bank because they can not make a refund if they didn’t collect the money.

Do you think the bank or the insurance company is right in my case?:confused:

Did the insurance get the money, or did they not? It sounds like they are saying they didn't So you would need to get confirmation from your bank that it was delivered.

Sounds to me like your just seeing an authorization, and a charge for the same amount, or more likely .. a slightly different amount. this is very common and usually goes away in a couple days.

This would explain the insurance company telling you to talk to your bank, (the insuarance company doesn't control auth holds) and most bank reps are clueless, which is why they may have thought you were charged twice without knowing how their own system works. or they just wanted to get you off the phone, they told you to talk to your insurance company.

If these charges are less than 5 days old, just wait a couple days.
