What is the name of your state? TEXAS.

I received a check for the amount of the Premium payments.
American National Insurance Co. In Galveston,Texas. do not
want to pay the amount specified in the universal life policy.
They did an investigation because the dead occured at the year
and a half of the issued date.
I went to a lawyer to place a suit and he told me first to ripp the check.
I do not want to collect that check because I know that means I'm agree
with the amount.
am I Correct?

You went to an attorney who gave you advice.
You have provided no facts on which to advise you.
We do not have the policy in front of us.

What part of "Rip the check up" do you not understand?
