My question is how do I know the correct amount of my father's life insurance is being paid. If life insurance companys can be very shady. Hoe do I have proof what my father paid for?

Ask the company to give you a copy of the insurance policy, which will have the face value shown on it. Stop being so paranoid.

The reason I am being this way is due to all the complaints from others Wal-Mart family members who have collected/tried to in the past.
