What is the name of your state?ga
I recently posted about a lawsuit brought on by a collection attorney. I talked to them tody to find out what kind of info they had on the case. I asked them when was the last payment made on this account. They gave me a date of Jan 2003. I have proof of other payments made to another ca that had this account but these payments were never posted to this account. Can I use this info agsinst them in this case?

I think you are saying that the amount is wrong and you were never given credit for payments you had made.

You ask "can I use this against them". Yes, but only to the extent that they correct the amount you owe.

You should ask in writing for a full accounting of the debt. Tell them that you dispute the debt. Tell them that payments you made have not been credited.
