Can PayPal hold my money with no explanation? Can PayPal freeze my account for no reason?

It will take about a week for you to get an response from Paypal. Have you done anything that would cause Paypal to freeze the account?

They don't hold or freeze accounts for "no reason".
Read the terms of service carefully so that you know what rule you violated.
