An employee got, and took care of, a DUI about a year ago. Yet she apparently was stopped (not once, but) twice while her license was suspended. Her lawyer who is handling this, called and said they was her to go to jail for 30 days (maybe 17 day with probation?).
Not that it makes any difference, but she is young (23), employeed, newly pregnant, nice and hardly your hardened criminal (i.e. never been to jail before).
Question: Is this penalty correct? Does the DUI conviction influence the penalty?
This is in So. California.
Thanks in advance
