I worked at an underground coal mine from 1975 until 1989, and of course, paid union dues and paid into the UMWA pension the entire time. the mine closed in 1989, and I followed another career path. I was wondering what happened to the money that I paid into the pension plan, and if I am eligible to get any of it back. Thank you.
