What is the name of your state? Indiana

My ex husband was in the Indiana National Guards for 25 years. We were married for 10 years 8 months of those years. He passed away last week. We have a 16 year old son. Am I or my son entitled to some of his pension? If so, how do I go about checking into it and at what point do I get it. He retired from the Guards last year. Also, he was remarried and they were married 11 years 9 months. Thank you.

You would need to contact your local SS office to see if your child can claim any social security benefits.

As far as the pension, unless it was specified in the divorce decree you are not eligible.
